Queer|Art presents the inaugural T4TV, a movie night spotlighting shorts by an international line-up of trans filmmakers. The program is curated by QA Co-Executive Director Río Sofia, QA Programs & Operations Manager Reya Sehgal, and 2023 QAM Fellow Catching On Thieves. The screening will also include a recorded panel discussion with the participating filmmakers, Catching On Thieves, and special guest, 2023 QAM Mentor Lilly Wachowski.
The event runs as part of the Body Hack x Queer|Art nonstop Pride festival at Nowadays, an extravaganza of indoor & outdoor festivities spanning Saturday, June 29th and Sunday, June 30th. The entire festival is fundraising for GLITS, an organization founded by Ceyenne Doroshow that provides immediate crisis support, healthcare access, and stable housing for transgender and sex worker communities in New York City.
