Sarah Panzer (they/she) is a multidisciplinary artist primarily working in film photography. They were born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, and left in 2018 to attend Stanford University. Their work interrogates their own gender and sexual identity, as well as notions of home, place, abuse, queerness, perception, and mental illness. Their love for photography began in high school, where they found peace and safety in the darkroom. Through their work, they hope to crack off the hard shell of the outside world, exposing the soft meat underneath.
